Profile

For many years, the TUD has been cooperating successfully with organisations from business and society – including beyond the boundaries of its own federal state. We focus on collaborations with selected small and mid-sized companies. You too can benefit from university's tremendous wealth of technical knowledge, and establish contacts with our scientists and students.

The knowledge and technology transfer process is tailored individually to the participating partner. For large companies, this offers the chance to resolve highly complex tasks that require tight cross-disciplinary teams capable of working of working fast. Yet make no mistake: smaller projects receive the same high level of regard and professionalism.

Our know-how draws its strength from the 1,600 researchers in the engineering and natural sciences as well as the social sciences and humanities. The core competencies of the TUD are bundled into 13 priority areas. These range from IT security to mechatronic systems.
