Celebrating 15 years of the Deutschlandstipendium

Perhaps you remember that special moment vividly:

The acceptance letter in your hand, your heart pounding, a feeling of recognition and encouragement. It was much more than financial support – it was a sign of trust. Someone believed in you, in your talents, in your path.

This trust created space. Space in which you could develop, explore, learn and grow. You met people who inspired and encouraged you: fellow scholarship holders, mentors, committed sponsors. Encounters turned into conversations, conversations perhaps turned into friendships – connections that continue to this day.

The Deutschlandstipendium opened doors that might otherwise have remained closed. It accompanied your development and left its mark – on your CV, yes, but above all on you yourself.

Today, 15 years later, we look back with gratitude: on what we have achieved together – and on what has grown from it. The Deutschlandstipendium thrives on people like you, on your stories and on your journey.

How wonderful that you are part of it – and hopefully will remain so.

We would like to cordially invite you to stay connected with us:

  • by sharing your story, for example in the form of a video or a speech at our anniversary celebration,
  • by making contacts in the vibrant network of the Deutschlandstipendium and providing new impetus,
  • or by supporting young students in the same way that you were once supported.

You know from your own experience that today's students face great challenges – rising living costs, social changes, balancing studies, work and extracurricular activities. This is where the Deutschlandstipendium provides valuable support – and with your help, we can not only secure this support, but also expand it further.
