Catherine Picart, CEA Grenoble

„Bioactive Medical Devices for Bone Regeneration“

Catherine Picart is vice-head of the Department of Health at the Interdisciplinary Research Institute of Grenoble (IRIG) within CEA's Fundamental Research Division. She is leading the Biomimetism and Regenerative Medicine (BRM) lab. The lab focuses on the engineering of biomaterials to control cell growth and differentiation and the regeneration of bone tissue in vivo, as well as experimental biophysical models of cell/matrix interactions.
