Nanoscribe's Photonic GT2 Professional ultra-high resolution two-photon printing system was recently installed in the clean room of the Institute of BioMedical Printing Technology, thanks to funding by LOEWE's „FLOW FOR LIFE“ research cluster and a DFG large-scale equipment proposal.

An deutschen Universitäten und auch in anderen Berufsfeldern in Deutschland wird seit sehr vielen Jahren über den geringen Frauenanteil in höheren Karrierestufen geklagt – an Universitäten vor allem über die geringe Anzahl der Professorinnen. Dabei strengen sich Universitäten nun schon sehr lange an, diesen Zustand zu ändern. So gibt es immer mehr Frauenförderprogramme, jährlich werden neue Aktivitäten erdacht und umgesetzt. Aber trotz aller Bemühungen steigt der Frauenanteil unter Professorinnen kaum. Warum?
