Admission and application requirements
The prerequisites for a successful admission to the doctoral program is an excellent master degree in a life science discipline from a renowned academic institution, as well as the final acceptance as a PhD student by one of the faculties associated with the program.
Students who do not apply for an open position, but have a general interest in the program are encouraged to submit an unsolicited application.
Applicants are allowed to choose up to three preferred research areas or research groups from the list of open positions.

The management board will thoroughly review all applications and inform you about timelines and next steps. In case of further consideration, depending on the number of applicants, availability and distance, an interview will be conducted in person or via Skype.
After final acceptance in our program (only then), you require electronic application at our university, a final approval of your documents and acceptance of the PhD committee of the department of the research field of choice. We will support you throughout the whole administrative process.
