The IT Security Staff presents: TUDa-CERT
The Computer Emergency Response Team of TU Darmstadt (TUDa-CERT) coordinates the processes in case of IT security incidents and misuse of it infrastructure. It is your contact concerning preventive measures and the concrete handling of IT security incidents.
Vulnerability scan
The continuous monitoring of IT security at the TU Darmstadt is also one of the tasks of the CERT. In particular, TUDa-CERT actively supports operators of IT systems at TU Darmstadt in securing their systems.
A vulnerability scanner based on Greenbone is in use since 2021. This is used to actively check existing IT systems at TU Darmstadt for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations at regular intervals. This is supplemented by various offers from external agencies, such as IT security scans from DFN-CERT.
Support for admins
Other offerings include personal support for system operators, the provision of IT security alerts via e-mail distribution lists, the Hessenbox and, in the future, via the IT security communication platform currently under development. Starting in January, there will be an open office hour.
Open office hour
Starting January 17, 2022, Jochen Becker, head of TUDa-CERT offers an open office hour for administrators every Monday, 11-12. Participation can be flexible without prior registration. Details and access data
