Various telephone scams seem to be booming again at the moment, and they can be expensive. For example, be alert to unexpected calls with international dialling codes.
The tricks of the scammers are manifold. In addition to supposed calls from abroad, you may also receive a fake call from an authority, a service provider or even from emergency services. Especially in the latter case, try to stay calm and react prudently.
