Support wanted!
The Kunstforum at TU Darmstadt is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with exhibition supervision and social media work for the upcoming exhibition »Annegret Soltau VATERSUCHE« (January 17 to June 7, 2026).
Your tasks:
- Supervising the exhibition space during opening hours and contributing to a welcoming and service-oriented atmosphere
- Representing the Kunstforum to the outside world and having a good knowledge of the exhibition content
- Welcoming and, if necessary, assisting visitors and answering questions
- Sales activities at the cash desk
- Support in the creation and maintenance of social media content
- Contributing to the creative development of social media formats and posts
- Taking on smaller tasks (e.g., folding flyers, labeling)
Your profile:
- Friendly, courteous manner
- Fluent German and good communication skills (also in English)
- Independent, reliable, and structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team
- Interest in art and culture as well as digital communication
- Knowledge of social media (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
- Experience in image and video editing
- (e.g., Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Creativity and enjoyment of visual storytelling
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM) in addition to weekday shifts
