    Stipendien für Auslandssemester in Nicaragua für das SoSe 2019

    DAAD ISAP-Programm mit der Universidad Technológica La Salle in León

    Im Rahmen der Internationalen Studien- und Austauschpartnerschaft (ISAP) mit unserer Partneruniversität der Universidad Tecnológica La Salle in León, Nicaragua, sind in der Fortsetzungsphase vom WS 2017/18 bis einschließlich SoSe 2019 jeweils drei Stipendien (Vollstipendien inkl. Reisekostenpauschale) pro Semester für ein 6-monatiges Austauschsemester zu vergeben.

    New cooperation agreement

    Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jochen Hack (Head of Junior Research Group SEE-URBAN-WATER) and Luis Angel Montenegro (Minister-Director ANA) after signing the contract.

    Cooperation agreement with National Water Authority of Nicaragua (ANA)

    The cooperation agreement with the National Water Authority of Nicaragua (ANA) was signed during a visit by Luis Angel Montenegro (Minister-Director ANA) on June 8th 2018 in Darmstadt/Germany. In the context of the SEE-URBAN-WATER project, ANA will provide primary data, including the acquisitions of meteorological datasets from INETER or any other source, and support in the monitoring of water quality with multiparameter in-situ measurements and water quantity through the installation of pluviographs and limnimeter rulers along the river and the city of Leon.”

    Cooperation agreement with Universidad Tecnológica La Salle (ULSA)

    The cooperation agreement with the Universidad Tecnológica La Salle (ULSA) was signed on March 13th 2018 in León/Nicaragua. The universities concluded the agreement for the purpose of institutional cooperation in the fields of research and the exchange of knowledge and information. The cooperation is intended to present academic and cultural cooperation as an expression of a friendly relationship.

    Natur-basierte Lösungen zum urbanen Gewässerschutz – Talk of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jochen Hack

    As part of the interdisciplinary lecture series on environmental sciences, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jochen Hack will give a talk to the topic: “Natur-basierte Lösungen zum urbanen Gewässerschutz”. The lecture will take place on Tuesday, 12th of June 2018 at 9:50 am in the lecture hall and media centre HMZ – small room L4|02 (Franziska-Braun-Straße 10, 64287 Darmstadt ).

    As part of the evening lecture series of the Interdisciplinary Research Group “Stadtforschung”, Prof. Dr.-Ing.
