The Materials Science department of the TU Darmstadt is pleased to announce a new partnership with the University of Uppsala. The collaboration agreement was initiated by the CRC/TRR 270 (speaker Prof. Oliver Gutfleisch) from the TU Darmstadt side as well as by Dr. Heike Herper and Prof. Olle Eriksson from the Physics department at University of Uppsala, and comprises intents to collaborate more closely in future research projects and proposals. It also includes an ERASMUS+ contract between the universities to foster and fund exchange option for students, PhD candidates, Postdocs and lecturers.

CRC/TRR 270 already had close links to University of Uppsala before via its Mercator Fellow Prof. Martin Sahlberg as well as by previous and ongoing collaborations with Dr. Heike Herper and Prof. Olle Eriksson. We are now happy to intensify these contacts!
