Overview
Project A04 aims to develop an up-scalable process to obtain non-resource critical and low-cost bulk samples with better mechanical and inert chemical properties and BHmax ≥ 30- 80 kJ/m3. Materials are NiMn-X (X: Ga,In,Sn) composite materials and multi-element high entropy alloys (e.g. CoMnFeNiGaAl, off-stoichiometric L10 NiMn) (see project B04) to exploit competing AFM and FM interactions for magnetic hardening. The results will be related to the ones of projects A01, A10, B08, A11, B11. Microstructure and magnetic properties will be investigated with projects Z01, Z02, A01, A12, B05. Theory support will be provided by projects B06 and A07.
