Overview
Complex magnetic microstructures (provided by other projects A01, A05, A06, A08, B05, B06, B12, B13, Z02) will be analyzed with the thermodynamically consistent micromagnetic-elastically coupled finite element model developed in the previous funding period. To further increase efficiency and improve numerical stability, the variational formulations and algorithms will be further developed to investigate more realistic microstructures. Special attention is given to the analysis of defects and their influence on the effective magnetization properties, as well as to irreversible mechanical mechanisms.
