Visual Computing, M.Sc.
The Master of Science programme Visual Computing deepens the skills and knowledge acquired in the Bachelor’s degree programme about the systematical processing of information, in particular in the field of digital images and visual models. This specialised Master's degree programme focuses on the creation, processing and analysis of digital images where the entire range from capturing the image to gaining visual models from images to the synthesis of realistic images from models is covered. In the course of the studies, the topics of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Machine Learning, the increasing linkage and synthesis capacities of the aforementioned areas (Integrated Methods) as well as the concrete applications of vision and graphics can be studied more in depth within the elective subject areas.
The programme caters to the students’ personal preferences by offering numerous electives and areas of specialisation. The students have the possibility to complete a part of the programme at a University abroad.
