From 15 to 19 June 2026, the second edition of the SUSTAIN-E Summer School on Sustainable Electronics will take place in Grenoble, France, bringing together students, researchers and industry to advance sustainable electronics. The programme addresses key challenges in sustainable electronics – from design and production to use, recycling and circularity.
Core topics include:
- Eco-design methodologies and circular product development
- Sustainable materials and raw material strategies
- Electronics and PCB recycling
- High-performance and energy-efficient electronics
- Low-tech and frugal design approaches
- Resilient IT systems as well as regulatory and geopolitical frameworks
The Summer School is aimed at Master’s students (in particular at an advanced stage), doctoral candidates, researchers and professionals from academia and industry. It promotes interdisciplinary exchange and the development of sustainable solutions for the electronics of tomorrow.
The event will be hosted by Grenoble INP – Phelma Engineering School. Participation is free of charge; however, places are limited and prior application is required.
