To note for examinations

What should you be aware of for the exam?

  • For written examinations, find out in advance whether seats have been allocated, especially if the examination is taking place in several rooms.
  • Be present on time at the start of the exam.
  • You must know your matriculation number so that it can be written on the exam papers. Therefore, memorize your matriculation number well in advance!
  • Legitimate participation in the exam will be checked on the day of the exam. This involves checking whether you are on the list of participants. You must identify yourself with a valid photo ID card. Your student ID card is not suitable for this purpose and is not required.
  • Carrying digital devices such as smartphones, smartwatches, etc. in an examination is generally NOT permitted and may be considered an attempt to cheat. Please follow the instructions of your examiners regarding permitted aids in the examination!
