Two-factor authentication (2FA)

The introduction of two-factor authentication (2FA) at TU Darmstadt is being carried out jointly by the University Computer Center (Hochschulrechenzentrum (opens in new tab) HRZ) and the central information security department at TU Darmstadt (InfoSec (opens in new tab)).

The central services of TU Darmstadt are protected by activating two-factor authentication (2FA) (opens in new tab) for the TU-ID. This protects all services connected via the TU Darmstadt central single sign-on (SSO).

Instructions for setting up two-factor authentication for the TU ID can be found on the HRZ website (opens in new tab).

If you have set up two-factor authentication (2FA) in TU Darmstadt Identity Management (IDM), you must also log in to TUCaN with 2FA.
