Computer Science at TU Darmstadt again among the Top 100
Success in the THE Subject Rankings

In this year’s THE World University Rankings by Subject, TU Darmstadt was once again well represented with very prominent rankings internationally. The university was ranked in 61st place for the subject “Computer Science” and thus achieved its best result since the publication of the rankings, despite a further increase in the number of ranked universities.
In other subjects in which TU Darmstadt is ranked, the university also achieved very positive results: In the subject “Engineering & Technology”, the university has been ranked in the 101-125 group for a number of years and this good result was confirmed once again this year. In the subjects “Physical Sciences” and “Life Sciences”, the university improved by one ranking group and is now ranked in the 251-300 group for both subjects.
The THE World University Rankings by Subject are published by the ranking agency Times Higher Education (THE) every year and now cover 11 different subjects. They are one of the most internationally renowned university rankings by subject. The rankings are based on reputation surveys, data on publications and citations and statistical information from the universities.
