Venture Builder Wanted: Why Entrepreneurial Thinking Matters Everywhere

Dr. Felix Nissen (Evonik) explains the simple decision rules used by corporate gatekeepers and investors: clear customer need, market size, feasibility, costs, and risk - and how to present evidence for each so your projects get a “yes.”

Tobias Dölle (chemstars) will then look at the startup side. Using the example of a university spin-off in the chemical field, we’ll show why classic startups often move faster, validate markets more directly, and benefit from full entrepreneurial freedom while still drawing on industry expertise when needed. Tobias  will explain how Chemstars supports founders with mentorship, industry access, and links to funding - helping academic ideas develop into scalable businesses.
