TU Darmstadt is looking for new student representatives to join SURE (Students in Unite! for Representation and Empowerment), the student representation body of the European university alliance Unite!. The call is open to students who would like to represent TU Darmstadt at the international level and contribute to strengthening student collaboration and engagement across the alliance.

SURE representatives take part in various Unite! forums, exchange ideas with students from the alliance's partner universities, and contribute to the development of student-led initiatives and educational activities. They also promote Unite! opportunities within the TU Darmstadt community and support student engagement across the university. The role includes participation in monthly online meetings, international events, and a range of Unite! work packages.

Once a year, all SURE representatives come together for a one-week Dialogue, hosted by one of the Unite! partner universities. The next Dialogue will take place in October 2026 at KTH in Stockholm.

Applications are open to Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral students at TU Darmstadt who have a good command of English, enjoy working in an international environment, and will remain enrolled at TU Darmstadt for at least one more year. Previous experience in student organisations, university committees, associations, international projects, or Unite! activities is an advantage but is not required.

Joining SURE offers the opportunity to build an international network, gain experience in student representation, and further develop leadership, teamwork and intercultural skills. It also provides a chance to contribute to decisions that shape the future of the Unite! alliance.

Applications should include a short motivation letter outlining the applicant's interest in joining SURE and any relevant experience in student engagement or university initiatives, as well as a CV. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview with the current SURE representatives, supported by the Student Liaison Officer.
