Research Associate (Ph.D. Student)

The position is to be filled as soon as possible; the funding is limited until 12/31/2022.

The research undertaken contributes to the success of the mission FANCY of the Center für Research in Privacy and Security (CRISP) [www.crisp-da.de] in Darmstadt.

We focus on privacy-preserving methods (PETs - Privacy Enhancing Technologies) with a special emphasize on biomedical data. Such new methods are to be implemented and applied within our collaborative research center and our international partners.

Ideally you have previous experience in relevante areas (Cryptography, SMPC, biostatistics, bioinformatics, medical informatics) and a completed M.Sc. degree (or equivalent).

We offer the opportunity to qualify for a Ph.D. degree which can be pursuit in any of the departments we are affilated with (computer science, biology, or physics). The fulfillment of the duties likewise enables the scientific qualifications of the candidate.
