The Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of Technische Universität Darmstadt invites applications for a position of a

We are looking for an experienced researcher with excellent scientific credentials and international visibility in one or more of the following research areas in the field of control engineering:
Emphasis is put on engineering and technological research questions. The professorship should engage in interdisciplinary research collaboration with other groups in the department, within other departments and with research and industrial partners.
An excellent doctorate degree, pedagogical and didactic skills as well as appropriate professional experiences (habilitation or habilitation-equivalent achievements) are required. Applicants are expected to participate in academic teaching concerning Bachelor and Master courses, especially in the specialisation 'Automation Technology' in our master programme and the 'Mechatronics' programme respectively.

The position is tenured with a remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications, following the German "W-Besoldung" and subject to negotiations between the applicant and the university directorate. The regulations for employment are specified under §§ 61 and 62 HHG (Hessisches Hochschulgesetz).
