The starting date is flexible, but preferably before October 2022. The employment is initially limited to 1 year, an extension of the contract is possible.
As a Post-doctoral researcher in the group, you will have the opportunity to carry out your own research and advise Doctoral/Master’s students on topics related to the addressing of the increasing gap between data sizes and CPU performance in the datacenter and clouds, which limits our ability to solve complex problems. Your role will be to help us overcome computational challenges, by looking beyond today's software and hardware architectures – namely, by using FPGAs deployed next to CPUs, in the storage nodes, or inside the network.
