The applicant will cooperate in the EU research project ACES and other projects of the System SecurityLab research group on systems security.

The Group's research areas include (amongst others):

• IoT Security
• Systems Security
• Use of AI and ML algorithms for security functionalities
• Resilience of AI algorithms against malicious modifications

The applicants are expected to hold an M.Sc. and have relevant background knowledge in computer security. In particular, knowledge in system and platform security (with a focus on Internet of Things security and edge-network systems), as well as the application of AI and ML algorithms is expected.

The aim of the work conducted within the scope of the offered position is to improve the scientific qualifications of the applicant. The tasks related to the offered position are focused on research activities. However, the position also requires to dedicate part of the effort towards project management.

Opportunity for further qualification (doctoral dissertation) is given. The fulfillment of the duties likewise enables the scientific qualifications of the candidate.
