The position are initially limited to three years.
The applicants will cooperate in the EU research project CROSSCON and other projects of the System Security Lab research group on systems security.
The Group's research areas include (amongst others):
The applicants are expected to hold an M.Sc. and have relevant background knowledge in computer security. Inparticular, knowledge of system and platform security, and hardware security (with focus onembedded systems and Internet of Things IoT) is expected. Digital circuit design expertise, HDL and C/C++ programming languages, and knowledge of embedded system programming are considered anadvantage. Experience or familiarity with using Xilinx Tools and FPGAs is also a plus.
The tasks related to the offered position are focused on research activities. However, the position also requires to dedicate part of the effort toward project management.
