The Threat Management Team

We have established a Threat Management Team with interconnected responsibilities at TU Darmstadt for just this matter. The team includes members of the administration responsible for student services, legal matters, personnel, counselling services and of the Institute of Psychology. We offer our services on a solution-oriented basis. At the root of this is the realisation that only by working together across disciplines and looking outside the box it will be possible to manage threats in the best possible way.

In addition, we actively seek to communicate and collaborate with in-house service points with many “client contacts”, such as examination management offices, the human resources department, the Studierendenwerk (association for student affairs), psychotherapeutic counselling services and student representatives. On the one hand, we provide support in cases of aggression and threats. On the other hand, we call on board our in-house partners during the case management process as necessary.
