Effects of climate change on the mental health of students

Online survey among students

2025/01/31

Dear students,

The topic of climate change and its effects on human health is highly topical and omnipresent. The fact that this has a negative impact on our physical health, for example through more frequent and more intense periods of heat, is well known and has now been scientifically proven many times over. However, the effects on mental health have not yet been sufficiently researched in this country. For this reason, the Research and Transfer Center “Sustainability and Climate Impact Management” (FTZ NK) at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) is investigating the effects of climate change on the mental health of students in Germany in a current study.

For the success of this study, they depend on your participation in the survey. Here are the links:

The next step will be to develop appropriate support and prevention measures based on the results.

Thank you for your participation
