Girls' Day 2023 @ CCS

On Girls' Day, a group of 15 girls paid a visit to the Centre for Cognitive Science. During their time at the Centre’s labs, they were able to see robots in action, had the opportunity to test a number of visual and weight illusion experiments, and enjoyed performing motion experiments using Virtual Reality (VR) technology. The girls also drew cognitive maps to learn about thought processes when using maps.
Overall, it was a great opportunity for the girls to learn more about science and technology and great fun for all presenters. Perhaps we hosted some of our future researchers. We would love to welcome you back to start your studies at TU Darmstadt!
The 2023 Girls’ Day was organized and supported by the Centre for Cognitive Science, the research project “The Adaptive Mind” and TU Darmstadt.
