Girls go MINT

2025/04/11

CCS was once again proud to support initiatives that spark young girls' enthusiasm for science and technology, i.e. MINT / STEM (German MINT – Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaft, Technik, English STEM – science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

We took part in the Computer Science Easter Camp, where we engaged 30 fifth- and sixth-grade girls over two afternoons. Through interactive sessions on visual illusions, throwing experiments in virtual reality, and critical discussions on artificial intelligence, we encouraged curiosity and empowered them to think like scientists.

In addition, we hosted a two-week internship for a dedicated 9th-grade pupil, offering her a hands-on introduction to the world of cognitive science. From exploring key topics to learning about scientific work methods, she gained valuable insights into the field.
