On March 18, 2025, the first meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board for the third phase of the EnEff:Stadt Campus Lichtwiese research project took place.
In an interdisciplinary setting, the subprojects – ranging from the operation of an electric energy cell to the use of renewable heat sources and real-time thermal load shifting – were presented and current challenges discussed.
The program was opened by welcoming remarks from Chancellor Dr. Martin Lommel, followed by an overview of the structural and traffic development on Campus Lichtwiese presented by Dipl.-Ing. architect Anja Einsiedler from the Building Management Department.
The close collaboration between research and practice was particularly emphasized as a highlight. The project transfer into the university’s central administration drew great interest from representatives of the HMWK and the project sponsor PTJ. The event also provided space for informal conversations and bilateral exchange.
We sincerely thank all participants for their contributions and for helping to shape this event!
