The cyber primer – skills for the digital world

Due to the restrictions of the Corona pandemic, many people are now on the Internet who may not have had much experience or contact with digital technologies before. Be it grandparents video-telephoning with their grandchildren, children homeschooling on their laptops, or associations holding virtual general meetings.

To ensure that these consumers – and all other Internet users – can navigate the Internet safely and in a self-determined manner, the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has joined forces with Deutschland sicher im Netz e. V. (DsiN) has developed the Cyberfibel.

The handbook provides education on cybersecurity in everyday life and gives guidance to knowledge brokers on how basic knowledge and digital skills can best be learned by the various target groups. It includes concrete examples and tips for practice.

Maybe you know someone who needs help or want to check out your own competencies?
