On 13 December 2022, Dr Irfan Refai gave a very interesting talk on wearable assistive and accessible technologies. He talked about the intersection between wearables, gait analysis, musculoskeletal modelling and exoskeleton control.

Irfan Refai is an assistant professor at the University of Twente, where he develops his research lines along AI and sensing technologies for space biomechanics and wearable robotics.

He received his Ph.D. from the same university in 2021. The PhD focused on understanding motor recovery patterns after stroke and designing wearable sensors to measure recovery.
