Graduate School Life Science Engineering Retreat 2023

The annual retreat offers a valuable opportunity for members of the Graduate School the opportunity to present their current research projects, network and discuss new ideas.

This years retreat tool place at Darmstädter Haus in Kleinwalsertal and was accompanied by inspiring talks and constructive scientific discussion. It was great to see how interdisciplinary cooperations have grown.

Robert Thompson provided an exciting workshop about Networking and job searching.

From last year's workshop on science communication by Sascha Vogel, the idea for the podcast 'Friday Science Bites' was born, which is now available on Spotify, Apple and Google. It gives a great example of how the Graduate School can inspire and support creative projects and collaborations among its members.

We are looking forward to new ideas, projects, and collaborations that emerged from the retreat.
