The art forum is centred in the exhibition hall in the old main building, Hochschulstraße 1, second floor. It also uses other TU locations to offer its artistic activities, both indoors and outdoors, for example in the Schlossgarten or in the castle itself.

Through its art forum and the associated exhibition activities, TU Darmstadt is increasingly anchored as a venue for public cultural events. The Art Forum of TU Darmstadt seeks to network with TU-based artistic initiatives and with cultural institutes, artistic associations, and universities of the city and the region.
