Model-based power plant retrofit from coal to climate-neutral iron as fuel

As part of the Clean Circles cluster project, research is being conducted at TU Darmstadt into the use of iron as a climate-neutral energy source. In particular, the existing infrastructure is to be used for electricity generation in power plants. Within the thesis, the retrofit of an existing plant at Infraserv Höchst in Frankfurt is to be modelled and comprehensively evaluated.
