2025/05/25
The ProLOEWE simulation game “Knowledge vs. Opinion: Artificial Intelligence” (Planspiel „Wissen vs. Meinung: Künstliche Intelligenz“) was honored at the Open Campus Day as part of the xchange Prize 2025 awarded by TU Darmstadt in the Knowledge Transfer & Science Communication category.
The xchange awards emphasize the importance of xchange activities as a third performance dimension alongside research and teaching. They recognize excellent activities at TU Darmstadt and honor TU scientists who have rendered outstanding services in the areas of technology transfer and start-up activities as well as in the field of knowledge transfer and science communication in politics, civil society and culture.
Dirk Balfanz received the honorable mention for his dedicated commitment to the ProLOEWE simulation game from Thomas Walther, Vice President for Innovation and International Affairs at TU Darmstadt.
The simulation game approach “Knowledge vs. opinion” was developed in 2024 on the initiative of ProLOEWE together with three LOEWE projects (including WhiteBox) and science birds GmbH as a transfer strategy.
