SpeedReading – Schneller und effektiver Lesen (Zeitraum 9.-30.6.2026, Gruppe A) – Online-Seminarreihe

261_ZM0901A

Textbooks and secondary literature need to be read, scripts and specialist texts still need to be selected and analysed, and the deadline is fast approaching! How can you possibly get to grips with this flood of information? When are you supposed to read it all? And how can you retain it all and access it reliably?

Objective

In this online seminar series, you will double or even quadruple your personal reading speed. You will learn how to securely store information that is relevant to you so that you can retrieve it when you need it. You will learn different techniques for different types of text and practise them during the seminar.

Contents

Determining your current reading speed:

  • Everyone recognises their own reading speed without anyone in the group being singled out as a possible ‘slow reader’.

Practising various reading techniques for different reading requirements

  • You will learn speed reading, skimming and diagonal reading. One technique enables you to read quickly AND accurately, another allows you to skim and scan texts very quickly. The presentation of the reading technique is always interspersed with practical exercises so that by the end of the seminar series you will have mastered all these techniques.

Store information securely and retain it better

  • Reading is not the same as learning. You will be given some simple memorisation techniques that will help you to remember the content permanently.

Concentration training

  • Some people read a page, reach the bottom and notice when turning the page that their thoughts were elsewhere. Save time by staying focused with a simple concentration exercise so you no longer need to reread texts.

Procedure in the online seminar:

The online seminar series is divided into seven modules, which you will complete live with the trainer in a small group. In addition, there are video sequences and tasks that can be completed at your own pace before the next session. At the beginning of each subsequent module, there is always time to review what has already been learned. If you have any questions, you can contact your trainer between module units.

And what happens after the course?

You can take the interval training you learn in the seminar home and/or to the office with you. You will receive all audio files and exercises. With just one weekly training session, you will achieve your new status quo, and with two training sessions (lasting only 10 minutes) you will improve even further after the course!
