Facade test rig at GCC
A special facade test stand is located on the south facade of the GCC. At this test stand, innovative facade systems can be installed and examined under real conditions. Mock-ups with a height of up to 3.6 m and a width of up to 13.0 m can be installed in this facade test rig. Outdoor weathering area
On the roof of the GCC there is an outdoor weathering area, which is used to investigate aging processes in glass and glass products. The test area is divided into two sub-areas of 2.5 x 2.5 m each. Here, a wide variety of specimens can be stored for long periods and exposed to the weather in order to investigate aging-related processes.
