Additional requirements

  • registered student in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical and Process Engineering (MSc)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical and Process Engineering
  • students need to have passed the first two language courses in Chinese prior to their stay in China. Further information can be found on the Language Resource Centre website

Finances

Students of TU Darmstadt need to pay the semester fees at TU Darmstadt throughout the course of their double degree programme. They do not have to pay tuition fees at the partner university. However, students have to pay an administrative fee at the partner university.

The partner university may require students to have international health insurance and liability insurance. Students need to pay all costs such as costs for travelling, visa, transportation, health insurance, housing and living.

Housing

The partner university may offer support concerning housing as well as financial support.
