The Technical University of Darmstadt is once again awarding the STIBET I scholarship for more equal opportunities. This scholarship, which is funded by the DAAD, aims to support international students whose financial difficulties are directly related to individual challenges they face during their studies.

The STIBET I Scholarship is designed to assist international students who are dealing with various special circumstances. To be eligible for this support, these challenges must arise from one or more of the following circumstances:
- First-generation students
- Refugee background
- Disability and/or chronic illness
- Gender identity
- Care responsibilities for relatives or children
The scholarship provides financial support of EUR 500 per month over a period of six months, totaling EUR 3,000. Applications are now open, with a deadline of September, 10 2025. Successful applicants will begin receiving their scholarship on October 1, 2025.
