Information on forwarding student e-mail addresses to Google e-mail addresses

Students who have set up forwarding from their personal university mail address to a Google mail address are strongly recommended to change the receiving address in the IDM-Portal (opens in new tab)or to set up their own TU mailbox and access the mailbox via an e-mail program on an own device or via the webmail portal.

This is due to Google's mail policy, which currently does not ensure that forwarding works properly. It is therefore planned to switch off the option of forwarding personal university mails to Google Mail addresses in the future.
