University elections 2025 started
University members can vote online until 3 July

The university elections started today (23 June 2025) at 12 noon. All eligible voters can cast their votes electronically until 3 July 2025, 12 noon. The members of the University Assembly and the Department Councils, the student members of the joint commissions of the study areas as well as the members of the Student Parliament and the Department Councils will be newly elected.
The election portal can be accessed by all eligible voters either via the election notification sent by email or via www.tu-darmstadt.de/hochschulwahlen. Registration takes place with TU-ID and password via single sign-on. After successful registration, the link to the election is displayed. After clicking on the link, you will be redirected to the actual voting system via a secure link.
The Students' Union (AStA) of TU Darmstadt informs all student members of the university about the current university elections on its own website (www.tuda-wahlen.de). It explains briefly and clearly what the individual councils do. The political lists also introduce themselves.
In addition, TU Professor Christian Stecker and Moritz Stockmar from the Institute of Political Science are once again offering an online voting aid for the Student Parliament elections in cooperation with the Voto platform. Students can answer 22 theses and compare themselves with the positions of all six candidate groups. Professor Stecker's team had already offered an election aid for the student parliament elections last year, which was used more than 2,000 times.
