An inspiring week full of STEM discoveries in the project week of the Schule an den Linden is behind us! The Centre for Synthetic Biology and the Learning Lab Biology of Merck School Promotion joined forces to offer young students an extraordinary project week.
During the project week, the children had the opportunity to explore the basics of science. It was impressive to see how they carried out their own small research projects with enthusiasm and curiosity.
The partnership with Merck's learning laboratory offered the pupils valuable insights into the natural sciences. They had the opportunity to work with modern equipped microscopes in their classrooms and proudly present their results to their parents at the school festival.
It is hoped that these experiences will have a positive impact on children's interest in STEM subjects as early as primary school and will influence their future educational and career choices.
