CREATOR Retreat 2024

The event kicked off on Monday with the Young Researchers Retreat, featuring presentations by PhD students and an excursion to MSG Mechatronic Systems. The next day featured workshops as well as a city tour of Graz. Tuesday concluded with the young researchers visiting the Inffeldgasse Campus and participating in a lab tour.

On Wednesday, the CREATOR Retreat was officially opened by Prof. Annette Mütze and Prof. Sebastian Schöps. Afterwards member of the advisory board Dr. Melanie Michon gave a keynote speech. The day concluded with presentations by the team leads.

Thursday was packed full with interesting presentations by PhD students. CREATORs had the opportunity to present their findings and answer questions about their respective fields of research. Throughout the days coffee breaks and lunch breaks presented opportunities of getting to know each other, discussing research, and going into further detail about the topics presented.

With the Retreat concluding on Friday, the poster sessions were a last highlight of the Retreat. PhD students and associated members presented their research to the attendees. The CREATOR Retreat was an overall success and contributed in creating team spirit among project members.
