Shaping Sustainable Mobility Together

UNITE! launches the Sustainable Mobility Forum

2025/07/01

The new UNITE! Sustainable Mobility Forum (U!SMF) will kick off with an online launch event on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM (CEST). The event will take place via Zoom.

The forum is a new educational and exchange platform within the European university alliance UNITE!, currently bringing together seven partner universities: TU Darmstadt, KTH Stockholm, Politecnico di Torino, ULisboa, UPC Barcelona, Aalto University, and PWR Wroclaw.

The focus is on sustainable and climate-resilient cities – with particular attention to mobility, artificial intelligence, and the energy transition. The aim is to promote European knowledge and experience sharing through an innovative teaching format.

What is the U!SMF?

The UNITE! Sustainable Mobility Forum is a transnational educational initiative involving students, teachers, and experts from industry and politics. It aims to:

  • build a European network for sustainable transportation systems
  • integrate a critical exchange module into teaching formats
  • open learning spaces to industry, policymakers, and society

Why participate in the Ecoforum Meeting?

The Ecoforum Meeting will:

  • present the forum’s vision and structure
  • outline European cooperation in teaching and practice
  • set the stage for the forum’s launch in the winter semester 2025/26

The forum offers a valuable opportunity to connect early, help shape its content, and contribute to the development of sustainable cities across Europe.Join the meeting
