All the exhausting work done by the Virtual Inclusion Office these past years related to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (I.D.E.A.) is now compiled and can be consulted in one platform accessible on Metacampus called “Unite! Network for Inclusion”. By housing these comprehensive resources, this common repository helps drive a coordinated and informed approach to inclusion and diversity across the Unite! alliance. This plays a critical role in fostering a more inclusive environment by offering a wide range of resources designed to promote best practices in diversity and inclusion.
Key documents include the Unite! Charter on Diversity and Inclusion, which outlines the network’s commitment to fostering equity and respect across all its institutions. Additionally, the repository offers practical tools such as the Toolkit for Producing Accessible Documents and the Toolkit for Accessible Events, ensuring that communications and activities are designed with accessibility in mind.
The Unite! Common Action Protocol provides a unified approach to implement inclusion strategies, while the Diversity Glossary and the Inclusion Glossary provide essential guidance to understand key terms and concepts related to I.D.E.A.
