The two high-ranking guests were warmly welcomed by Vice President Professor Dr. Walther and the International Relations Overseas Team. TU Darmstadt is the academic home for a large number of Indian students and also maintains close research relations with India, both within the framework of the TU9 Alliance and bilaterally, especially with IIT Bombay and IIT Madras.

The main topics were the intensification of cooperation and mutual information about the respective activities. Professors Anna and Marcus Rohrbach presented the research area of Artificial Intelligence, also as part of the Hessian.AI alliance. Suman Pal provided information about the start-up company Telekinesis with strong links to TU Darmstadt. A delegation trip to India is planned for March 2025 under the leadership of Vice President Prof. Dr. Walther.
