Scottish Delegation Visits TU Darmstadt

On May 16, 2025, a small delegation from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, led by Professor Tim Bedford, Associate Principal Manager, visited TU Darmstadt. Vice President Thomas Walther, along with Dr. Jana Freihöfer, Head of the International Office, and Dr. Andreas Winkler, Secretary General of our European University Alliance Unite!, welcomed the guests in the New Senate Hall and held in-depth discussions about future cooperation opportunities, particularly in the fields of accelerator physics and advanced manufacturing. Representatives from the respective TU Darmstadt institutes presented their own areas of focus and discussed cooperation ideas in depth.

During a tour of the ETA factory, the guests were able to gain a practical insight into the research and work of TU Darmstadt.
