Late Arrivals Consultation Hour

Are you going to miss the X-Weeks welcome events because you're arriving late in Darmstadt? Come to our Late Arrivals Consultation Hour at the International Counter in karo5 with our student advisor and institutional coordinators.

TU Darmstadt officially welcomes its new exchange students on Welcome Day. A panel of key contacts will provide information on the most important points of contact and offer personal advice. You will also have the opportunity to meet other students, as well as representatives of various university services and groups. They organise lots of exciting activities for the upcoming semester.

On the second day, you will receive all the important information that exchange students need during their stay. You will learn how to register in your new city, open a bank account, and apply for a residence permit. After these sessions you can get individual advice and ask your questions. Afterwards, you will have the chance to get to hang out with the other exchange students.

The intensive German courses are organised by the Language Resource Centre (Sprachenzentrum – SPZ).

Connect and Feel at Home with TUtor International

Our TUtor International (TI) (opens in new tab) team is primarily responsible for making sure you enjoy your time here. They organise social and cultural events, among other things. They ensure that your stay is exciting, help you to connect with other students and enable you to quickly feel at home at TU Darmstadt.

TI works closely with the Exchange Student Network (ESN) Darmstadt (opens in new tab) in Darmstadt. They organise events specifically for exchange students.
