First Datathon on research data management
Event in cooperation with the Collaborative Research Centres 1194 and Transregio 150
2023/02/15
The first Clean Circles Datathon took place on 8 February 2023. The topic was how research data management according to the FAIR principles looks like in practice and how it can be implemented.
Research data management is an integral part of good scientific practice and an important issue for the work in the Clean Circles research project. According to the Initiative, research data should be findable, accessible, interoperable and resusable. For this reason, training sessions are held at regular intervals to teach the basics and concepts of research data management. Doctoral students bring their research datasets to structure them, prepare processed data for public repositories, or learn to set up a Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline with the TU GitLab server.
