Questionnaire to the Research Fellow
My field of research is fascinating. To laymen I would explain it in the following comprehensible manner:
My field is “Lead-Free Ferroelectric Materials”, and these materials can replace the lead containing toxic material in many electronic devices.
My most important success in research to date is…
that I could make a clean finish of my previous work (paper) with help the of host group and, during the finishing, get fresh ideas in the new environment. Moreover, I could meet new friendly colleagues and I am very happy to work with them. Finally, I could learn about German society and a little bit of the language and that is a great experience for me.
I’ve chosen the TU Darmstadt…
because this group is the most excellent and leading group in the lead-free ferroelectric field. Moreover, I can strongly connect with my previous major and all of the experimental equipment in this group (measuring, processing and analyzing etc.) is great for me.
If I were a student today, I would…
study much more about not only my major but also the German language.
The perfect balance to a stressful working day is…
sports activity and break time with colleagues.
With the help of my host in Darmstadt I would like to…
become the pioneer in my field and want to study the origin of lead free ferroelectric materials.

You appreciate in your guest / your guest favourably impressed you by…
that he has not only proven that his research is remarkable for his age, but due to his open-mindedness, he also has become a valued member of the group in a matter of days.
You, your team and the TU Darmstadt benefit from your guest’s…
enthusiasm for research and his team working attitude.
